The Raven women's basketball team remains at home for a 5:30 p.m game on Thursday looking to rebound from their first home loss of the season this past Saturday. Benedictine (7-8, 2-2 HAAC) hosts conference newcomer Peru State (0-17,0-5 HAAC).

The Bobcats are 0-5 on the year and haven’t gotten no help from their conference scheduling. PSC has losses to three current top five teams in the standings (MNU, Central Methodist and Missouri Valley). ... The Bobcats do have one of the top five scorers in the HAAC in Courtney Ward. The Junior forward is averaging 14.5 ppg this season and also leads the HAAC in field goal percentage at 51.8 percent per game. ... Ward is also ranked in NAIA Div. I in offensive rebounds per game (No. 3, 5.4) and total rebounds (No. 8, 168). ... The Bobcats have the No. 3 scoring offense in the HAAC, totaling 1,031 points this year but are giving up an average of 81.1 ppg - last in the HAAC.

Benedictine is coming off their first home loss of the season after dropping a four-point contest to HAAC front-runner MNU on Saturday. ... Benedictine’s 64 points on Saturday was the second highest scoring output at home this season behind their 65 points in the win over Bethel on Nov. 15. ... Since the calendar turned to 2012, the Ravens have benefited from a much more balanced scoring attack. In their three games in 2012, Benedictine has four players scoring over eight points of a game. ... While guard Kelsey Wolfe continues to lead the Ravens scoing at 11.1 ppg, center Teresa Zienkewicz is returning to her pre-injury form. Zienkewicz is averaging 10.3 ppg in 2012, just under her season average of 10.7.
